This AED Adhesive PVC Sticker is now the standard sign for all Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
Many AED manufacturers design the signs themselves which can cause confusion as each manufacturer's design will be slightly different.
With the importance of any sign to draw your attention rapidly to the AED, this standard sign does that in an easy to understand, clearly visible way.
The BLS/AED Sub-Committee of the UK Resuscitation Council has been working for some time on producing a standard sign for use in the UK and the design follows the requirements of the European Union as far as colour, shape, and content are concerned.
This design has also been approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and The Resuscitation Council (UK).
For every sign sold, £1.00 is donated by SP Services to The Resuscitation Council (UK).
