Supplied in a 25kg bag, this salt is perfect for gritting roads, pathways, drives and any other surfaces that could be dangerous to use in the winter months and cold weather.
The salt acts as a surface to grip when moving on and also works to melt the snow / ice after it is applied, this is because the salt freezes at around 5 degrees lower than the water.
As you apply the grit down on your roads, paths and car parks, it then mixes with the moisture already on the ground from the weather and forms a salt solution melting the ice.
