Should I call 999? NHS guidance for choosing the right care

At some point, everyone will experience an accident or medical emergency, but not all injuries or medical issues require you to call 999.

From seeing your GP, to visiting a pharmacy or using the NHS 111 urgent care number, there are lots of ways you can get advice and care for yourself or others in a non-life-threatening emergency.

The NHS have issued this helpful infographic which highlights which type of care to choose in various situations:
