FCP09 Military Abdominal/Large Area Wound Dressing

The FCP09 Military Abdominal/Large Area Wound Dressing is designed for treating a wide variety of large wounds and those with exposed organs, or those requiring the maintenance of moisture at the wound site, the Multi Bandage incorporates the innovative features of the entire Emergency Bandage series plus adds a unique moisture-sealing plastic sheet to the bandage pad of the Military Abdominal Field Dressing.

The Moisture Seal is a non-adherent plastic sheet that seals & maintains moisture and the trapped cooling effect on a wound that has been doused with water. In cases of exposed organs, the moisture prevents the formation of adhesions. Attached on the four corners of the pad, the Moisture Seal opens with the bandage to cover a large wound. When not required the Moisture Seal can easily be detached, allowing the bandage to be used independently.

• Stop & Go release - providing controlled application of the bandage without the risk of unraveling
• Handle Loop - a fold at the end of the Wrapping Leader that maintains placement and aids proper positioning on the wound. For self-application, the Handle Loop facilitates correct bandaging
• The bandage is double vacuum packed to ensure its integrity and sterility while tear notches opposite each other on the outer packaging enable easy opening
• Dimensions - 30 x 30cm non-adherent sterile pad connected to 25cm x 4.5m elasticized Wrapping Leader with a 60 x 60cm Moisture seal non-adhesive plast
