Algisite M is a calcium alginate dressing that forms a soft gel when it comes into contact with wound exudate.

Contraindications:

• Ensure packing is removed from cavities before use
• May adhere if used on lightly exuding wounds; moisten with saline for easy removal
• Not suitable for patients with known allergies to alginates
